Each Saturday during the college football season, the guys from Section 400 will go through the top storylines heading into the monstrous slate of games.
Find out below what Section 400 writers Brian Hauch and Matt Kolen are most intrigued about in week 9.
Happy Halloweekend!

Getty Images This slate is gross enough to make you want to start drinking the hard apple cider a little early. Is there any game you’re looking forward to today?
BH: Oregon and Utah could be fun, but honestly Oregon matches up well with Utah and they are much more talented. I’ll take a swing at Stanford hosting Washington as my game to watch.
Michael Penix hasn’t look the same since getting banged up against Oregon and I like Stanford’s chances to keep this close.
MK: I hate the slate today, but Georgia traveling down to the swamp to take on the Florida Gators could be a good one. You know the fans will be rowdy after tailgating at “the world’s largest outdoor cocktail party”.

University of Colorado Athletics The Colorado Buffaloes opened the season as the darlings of college football but lost three straight before their bye. Prime Time’s team returns to action against No. 23 UCLA this week. Do they have any magic left in the tank?
BH: I don’t think so, but man do I hope so. This team was so much fun to watch when Travis Hunter was making insane plays and Shadeur Sanders was throwing for 400 yards a game. I’d love to see them give the Bruins all they can handle today.
MK: I think the Colorado juice is over, at least for now. I do think Dion Sanders is going to be a recruiting wizard and we could see them in the expanded playoff next year.

William & Mary Athletics Yes, I know this slate is grosser than a teenager’s moral compass on the night before Halloween, but I need your favorite bet today.
BH: I alluded to it earlier. Give me Stanford +27.5 at home vs. Washington.
MK: With a disgusting slate, I shall give you a disgusting bet. Willam & Mary -3 against Monmouth at home. Disgusting.

Ian Bethune/The UConn Blog Don’t hate me, but I need an underdog bet as well…
BH: The PAC-12 after-dark is about to get weird. I like Arizona at +120 to upset No. 11 Oregon State at home.
MK: Brian what are you doing to me? If I must give an outright underdog winner I will. This is very ugly and I might regret it, but give me Uconn +470 on the road against Boston College.
