College Basketball is DRUNK right now

I know, I know, today is all about college football and the many conference championship games taking place today.

BUT…

College basketball is a literal chicken with its head cut off right now. We saw No. 1 ranked Purdue and Zach Edey’s jolly green giant-looking ass go down in Chicago to Northwestern on Friday.

On Saturday, we’ve seen No. 3 Marquette go down in Wisconsin, No. 7 Duke go down at the hands of the mediocre 3-2 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and No. 18 Villanova lose their third game of the season against a Philadelphia team.

No. 12 Kentucky is also losing by 5 at home to UNC-Wilmington at the time of this writing, while 11-ranked Gonzaga is only favored by 3 points on the road tonight in Los Angeles against USC.

This college hoops season is complete anarchy and we are only in December. The only team I have complete faith in right now is Arizona, but even the Wildcats have their fare share of “March fraud” written all over them, especially after last year’s early exit to Princeton.

I’ll get more into the logistics and analysis of everything on our next mid-week podcast on Thursday. Until then, be sure to check out all of our socials (linked at the top of our website) to see our reactions to all the craziness in college basketball and everywhere else.

Until then, I’ll leave you with a bonus weekend college basketball bet. Portland State is going to soar over its team total of 64.5 points this afternoon. The line is a joke and the game tips off in 10 minutes so you better hurry before it climbs above 70.
