After every week during the NFL season, Section 400 writer Jack Albanese will give us his updated power rankings of all 32 teams across the league.
Here is where each team stands after last week’s action.
- Kansas City Chiefs

- San Francisco 49ers
-

USATS The “Niners” shoot their way back up the power rankings after dismantling my Jaguars in Jacksonville last week.
The 49ers looked healthy and explosive coming off their bye week. This team is back to being a force you don’t want to mess with, adding Chase Young certainly helped.
- Baltimore Ravens
-

Rob Carr/Getty Images The Ravens are still a really good football team. I’m not dropping Baltimore after losing a weirdly high-scoring divisional game by 2 points. I’ll continue to say what I’ve been saying all year. As long as Lamar Jackson is healthy, the Ravens have a shot to win the damn thing.
- Detroit Lions
-

Harry How/Getty Images I nearly put the Lions in my top 3 this week, but the blowout loss in Baltimore a few weeks ago is still holding me back.
Jared Goff and the Lions went into Los Angeles last week and outscored Justin Herbert and the Chargers in an electric 79-point shootout. With both David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs healthy for Detroit, they’re going to be a force all year long.
- Jacksonville Jaguars
-

Kirsty Wigglesworth/AP Photo I have to be unbiased here-, my Jags got stomped.
It was a brutal performance on all levels. The offensive line looked really bad, Trevor Lawrence looked equally bad, and head coach Doug Pederson didn’t do anything to help.
The Jaguars need to be better this week in a home divisional game against the Titans.
- Miami Dolphins
-

Mario Hommes/DeFodi Images via Getty Images What more is there to say about this team? The Dolphins have proven they’ll beat up bad teams but can’t beat the top-tier teams in the league.
Let’s see if the defense can get ramped up and give Miami a chance down the stretch.
- Cincinnati Bengals
-

- Cleveland Browns
-

Lindsey Wasson/AP Photo It’s a real shame the Browns lost Deshaun Watson for the season. The franchise quarterback finally looked comfortable last week in Baltimore, leading Cleveland to the comeback victory.
Don’t expect these guys to climb too much higher in my power rankings with P.J. Walker and Dorian Thompson-Robinson starting under center. Shoutout to that defense tho.
- Dallas Cowboys
-

AP Photo/Tony Gutierrez The Dallas Cowboys are a lot like the Miami Dolphins. They are going to beat the pulp out of bad football teams but have trouble beating good ones.
