Jack’s NFL Power Rankings after Week 12

After every week during the NFL season, Section 400 writer Jack Albanese will give us his updated power rankings of all 32 teams across the league.

Here is where each team stands after last week’s action.

Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles are the best team in football. If they beat the 49ers this week the Birds should hold onto this spot for the remainder of the regular season.

San Francisco 49ers

The Eagles may have the best team in football, but the 49ers have the most talent. Sunday afternoon’s game should tell us which squad has the edge heading into the postseason.

Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City needed to bounce back after a tough home loss to the Eagles in Week 11. The Chiefs were able to get the win, but it was sloppy and hard-earned against a mediocre Raiders team.

Baltimore Ravens

I know some of you may think Baltimore should jump the Chiefs, but it’s not happening today. Kansas City is going to be the No. 1 seed in the AFC, regardless of their struggles. The Ravens are good, but I think it’s more likely the Ravens fall to the 3 seed because of my Jaguars #duuuval

Jacksonville Jaguars

Last week proved my Jaguars are the Kings of the AFC South. Take a hike Coleridge Bernard Stroud, this is still Trevor Lawrence’s division.

Dallas Cowboys

Dallas is still on fraud watch, but they have looked really good against bad teams. This may be a reach after beating the bummy Commies, but Dallas has looked really good lately.

Detroit Lions

The Lions are coming off an embarrassing loss to the Packers to open up Thanksgiving. This team needs to get back on track and keep being a physical football team.

Miami Dolphins

Miami beat up yet another bad team. I still am not impressed by the Dolphins and could care less about a win over Tim Boyle and the dumpster fire that is the New York Jets. Mike McDaniel’s squad are big frauds until they prove otherwise.

Buffalo Bills

The Bills are still talented, but they simply cannot win big games. Buffalo most likely needs to win out to make the postseason.

Cleveland Browns

I still love this defense but the Browns have now lost all their offensive firepower. Cleveland is not a true contender unless Dorian Thompson-Robinson or Joe Flacco turn into Tom Brady, or maybe even Brock Purdy.
