The Las Vegas Raiders continue to be a terribly run organization
Mark Davis and Co. finally admitted their mistake in hiring Josh McDaniels as the team’s head coach last year, as McDaniels was let go on Wednesday.
The firing comes just two days after the team fell to the Lions on Monday Night Football in a game that can only be described as a shit show.
That term can be used to describe McDaniels’ tenure in Vegas as well, as the team went an abysmal 9-16 with him at the helm.
With that being said, it’s hard to put this season’s struggles completely on the Raiders coach, as quarterbacks Aidan O’Connell, Brian Hoyer, and Jimmy Garoppolo haven’t been able to hit the wide side of a barn this year.
The latter’s play was so bad against the Lions that it led many to believe star receiver Devante Adams was ready to pull a Vontae Davis and quit on his team at halftime.

Quarterback play aside, Josh McDaniels has proven he cannot coach, at least well, in the National Football League. His combined record between Denver and Vegas was 20-36, and that includes his 6-0 start with the Broncos as a rookie head coach.
Former Giants linebacker and Raiders linebacker coach Antonio Pierce will take over the helm for the remainder of the season.
If you didn’t know Pierce was coaching in the league until reading that headline, you are not alone.
