Happy Saturday to all that celebrate! As they do every Saturday, the guys from Section 400 will go through the top storylines heading into the monstrous slate on each College Football Saturday.
Find out below what Section 400 writers Brian Hauch and Jack Albanese are most intrigued about in week twelve.
- Home Stretch

Online Athens Gentlemen, we are in the home stretch of college football. With plenty of Playoff implications and conference championship hopes on the line, which game(s) will you be watching?
BH: If you know me, you know my viewing has almost completely shifted towards the other major collegiate sport that takes place in the winter, but I’ll still be tuned in to some football nonetheless. Georgia vs. Tennessee is the easy answer, but I’m also pretty much every game in the BIG 12. We talked about it on the latest podcast, but there is still a possibility West Virginia creates enough chaos to end up in the conference championship game with four losses. I like chaos. I’ll be rooting for Cincinnati to upset Iowa State and the Mountaineers to win as home underdogs against Baylor.
JA: The ACC race is getting tight. I’ll be watching Clemson vs. Pitt at noon and Tennessee vs. Georgia in primetime. - It Just Means a TON

Syndication: The Knoxville News-Sentinel Georgia hosts Tennessee in a massive game with “win or go home” implications tonight. Will both of these teams make the playoff?
BH: As much as I would like to see the Volunteers make the 12-team field after I picked them as my “way too early” National Champion pick, I think a loss tonight puts Tennessee on the outside looking in heading into the home stretch. I’d love to see the upset, but the constant barks from the Athens crowd might be too much for the ‘Vols’ to conquer.
JA: Carson Beck needs to figure it out but Georgia is going to win this game and make it to the Playoff. - Big Headache

Rob Gray-Imagn Images BYU may be undefeated, but the Cougars have looked like anything but a dominant team. With Colorado, Iowa State, and Kansas State looming, which program is going to earn the automatic bid into the Playoff?
BH: Matt, who was a little too hungover to submit his roundtable questions, again, likes to joke about BYU being my “fifth” favorite team to win the National Championship this season. While that is true, I’m slowly coming around to the belief that Travis Hunter is going to finish his historic campaign with a College Football Playoff birth. I want to see the Cougars as the No. 3 seed when it’s all said and done, but my brain is telling me the Buffaloes pull it off.
JA: BYU will finish the regular season undefeated and win the conference. Sorry Brian, you won’t be getting the chaos you want so badly. - Let’s have a Saturday

Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images Favorite bet(s) today?
BH: I mentioned Colorado earlier. I love the Buffs to cover (-13.5) against Utah today and the game to go OVER 43.5 points.
JA: A 9-0 BYU team hosts a 3-6 Kansas team and BYU is only a 2.5 favorite. What am I missing here? BYU (-2.5) all day long. - Underdog
-

The Enquirer Which underdog shocks the world today?
BH: I’m not sure if it will exactly shock the world, but give me the chaos. West Virginia (+140) beats Baylor as a home underdog.
JA: I mentioned it in the first slide, I’m watching Pitt vs. Clemson and I like the Panthers (+250) to keep it close. For the sake of this prompt I’ll say they win the game.
