Pedro Vilela/Getty Images Hamstring issues are apparently a wide-spread epidemic around the league right now (Jack and I know that all to well) and A.J. Brown is the latest victim of a bad “hammy”. Which Eagles pass catcher is going to step up tonight in his absence?
BH: There were a lot of things about this football season I was dreading. The Eagles playing in primetime every other week was one of them. I hate I have to come up with, ask, and answer questions about this preposterously annoying football team multiple times this year, but my answer is DeVonta Smith. *sad war eagle*
JA: DeVonta Smith.
ZM: Dallas Goedert goes INSANE tonight!! I’m thinking 8 receptions, 90 yards, and two touchdowns.
MK: Dallas Goedert gets going early in this one. The Falcons will key in on the run, opening up some play action to Goedert. - Going Bad

USATS I don’t need to explain to you guys how badly Kirk Cousins has played in primetime over the course of his career. He’s 3-10 on Monday Night Football specifically, and the last time he played in “The Linc” on Monday Night the Vikings had one of the most laughable standalone game efforts I’ve ever seen. How does “Captain Kirk” fair tonight?
BH: In my anti-Eagles parlay on the podcast I gave our Kirk one touchdown for a reason. I simply can’t trust the guy to throw for multiple scores. To be honest I’m putting more stock in the fact he’s still rusty from the achillies injury. Cousins is somehow 36 years old now, which makes me feel like an old man. To answer the question he’s going to throw for 217 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception.
JA: Kirk is going to struggle. He’s historically bad in primetime and he looks to be still hindered by his achillies injury. I’ll predict 220 yards, 1 touchdown , 1 interception, and a fumble.
ZM: It may be Michael Penix time after this one. Cousins completes 14 of 19 passes for 173 yards, 1 touhdown, and 2 interceptions.
MK: I’m not trusting “primetime Kirk”. He goes 18/33 for 212 yards 2 interceptions - Heaven or Hell

Getty Images Well, it wouldn’t be a Brian Hauch roundtable without at least one bad pun. Which one of these Bird squads flies further in 2024?
BH: Atlanta. Sports gods I need you to listen to me. The Falcons deserve one. The Braves do not. Let the football fans down south have some fun.
JA: Sorry Brian, you may hate them but it’s the Eagles easily.
ZM: The Falcons suck. The Eagles is the easy answer.
MK: The Eagles all day. Atlanta is a bunch of frauds. - What’s Free?

USATS It’s that time of the week again. Give me your best bet of the night!
BH: Go watch the podcast for my anti-Eagles parlay. I’ll give out a DeVonta Smith to record 60+ receiving yards (-188) and Drake London to record 40+ receiving yards(-300) parlay. The odds come out to right around even.
JA: Devonta Smith. Specifically DeVonta Smith over 5.5 receptions (-138).
ZM: Dallas Goedert (+1200) is scoring the first touchdown.MK: Eagles money line (-220). Don’t overthink it.
- Amen

USATS I feel like it’s about time we hit one of these. Give me your final score prediction.
BH: Falcons shock the world and make Atlanta forget they lost to the Dodgers tonight. Falcons 27, Eagles 23.
JA: Eagles win big at home, 27-17.
ZM: Da Birds take it in a route, 31-13.
MK: Eagles by two touchdowns, 30-16.
