The Washington Huskies Future comes down to tonight.

We are now just over two months old here at Section 400, and despite the “youngness” of our brand, we’ve had our fair share of squad ride future bets over our 17 podcasts.

One of those futures is for the Washington Huskies to win the College Football Playoff. After looking at the +10 line for the Huskies entering the PAC 12 Championship game, it’s safe to say we are a bit rattled.

We actively decided to squad ride the Huskies after they took down Oregon at home in what was, and still is, one of the better games of the college football season.

Michael Penix Jr. was fresh off multiple 5-touchdown games, the Huskies’ defense looked elite, and the playmakers on both sides of the field made major plays every single drive.

Since then, Washington’s prospects have been more gloomy than the city they call home.

The Huskies haven’t lost, but they’ve played poorly enough to. After struggling at home to a bad Arizona State team Washington had issues against Stanford, almost loss to USC, barely escaped Utah and Oregon State, and needed a last second field goal to win against Washington State last week as a 17-point favorite.

Listen, we are still high on the Huskies and will be rooting for them aggressively tonight as they try to stay undefeated against Bo Nix and the Ducks, but we are a little concerned.

Here’s to hoping Penix Jr. can pull one another out for us tonight. We’ll be on Washington +280, and we hope you all join us.
