Every single day, Section 400 will take you through the upcoming night’s slate of games, no matter how incredible, or how disgusting, it looks.
Today’s slate is headlined by NBA opening night, with two blockbuster games in store. We also are getting treated to some sneaky-good college football and a pivotal MLB playoff game that our guy Matt is going to be SWEATING.
Let’s dive right in.
The best.

(MLB) Phillies vs. Diamondbacks Game 7
This game is going to be electric, and that’s not only because I’m praying fellow Section 400 contributor Matt Kolen’s Phillies blow it.
Since we’ve just launched during football season and my Mets haven’t played a game, I haven’t been able to enjoy these playoffs as much as I would like to. If the Phillies lose to the 6-seed Diamondbacks, that will all change.
I’ve had to deal with the Mets tragedy and the Giants sucking while Matt has had #RedOctober and the Eagles tush pushing their way to the best team in football.
It’s time for Brian to win one. Let’s go Snakes.
The best of the rest.

(NBA) Nuggets vs. Lakers
(NBA) Suns vs. Warriors
The NBA season kicks off tonight with a banger of a slate featuring four western conference teams that could very well win the NBA Finals.
Things kick off with a rematch of the Western Conference Finals as Lebron James takes time off of his NFL “Instagram lives” to take on Nikola Jokic and the defending champion Nuggets.
The night cap is just as good, as the new-look Phoenix Suns (who may be without Bradley Beal already) take on the Golden State Warriors.

The rest.

(NCAAF) Liberty vs. Western Kentucky
(NHL) Full slate of games
The 7-0 Liberty Flames look to stay undefeated tonight when they take on Malachi Corley and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers.
Liberty has been one of the mid-major programs in all of college football this year, while Western Kentucky has been inconsistent, but has easily the best player on the field in this game in wide receiver Malachi Corley.
With an over/under set above 60, this could be a really fun watch for those not interested in watching the city of Philadelphia burn to the ground.
NHL action also continues tonight, creating the first time in a long time 3/4 major sports will be in-play on the same day
