It’s 33 degrees in Washington, DC today. I am not happy.
I can’t quite tell you why your car is in the front yard, or why you slept with your clothes on, but don’t worry, I’m not gone.
Every single day, the guys from Section 400 will be providing a rundown of everything that happened in the world of sports the night before.
Texas-Sized Celebration

The Texas Rangers have done it. After losing the division on the final day of the regular season, the Wild Card Rangers went 11-0 on the road over the course of the postseason, slugging their way to the first World Series title in franchise history.
Met-legends Jacob Degrom and Travis Jankowski finally have their rings and I for one could not be happier about it. Corey Seager took rightfully home the MVP trophy after hitting a cool .318 in the Fall Classic.
Rangers manager Bruce Bochy captured his fourth world series title, and it may be time to start a managerial GOAT forum. As for Arizona, the Snakes ran out of horcruxes, as a sub-par crowd and cooled-off lineup couldn’t will them to fight another day.
Check out our instant reaction to the Rangers Game 5 win below.
@views.from.400 The #texasrangers are #worldseries champions! What a horrible series, but hey, congrats to Texas.
Chaos in the NBA

For some reason the best games every night over in the NBA take place on the west coast. For some reason I decide to stay up for each game until the wee-hours of the morning, everytime.
It paid off yesterday.
First, a De’aaron Fox-less Kings team took Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors down to the wire, taking a one point lead on a Domantas Sabonis mid-range shot with 10 seconds to play.
Steve Kerr opted to not call a time out, and then Klay Thompson happened.

The second splash brother had struggled with his shot all game prior to the winner, finishing 6/15 from the field for 14 points. He’ll be happy with the last two though, as Golden State is now 4-1 heading into the mid-season “beginning of season” tournament. Stay tuned for our podcast later today where we discuss that disaster.
The “Battle of LA” on ESPN between the Lakers and Clippers was arguably the best watch last night, with the Lakers taking down the Clippers 130-125 in overtime.
38-year-old Lebron James was once again the best player on the floor (this guy), accumulating 35 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists on an extremely efficient 13/19 from the field.
The Clippers star trio also showed out, as Russell Westbrook (28/11/8), Kawhi Leonard (38/6/5), and Paul George (35/6/1), were responsible for nearly 90% of the Clippers offense. It will sure be interesting to see how the newly acquired James Harden fits in to that usage.
Both Los Angeles teams are now 3-2 on the young season, that is apparently already at mid-season.
