Don’t you just love sports during the day? Thanksgiving week is so incredible.
Every single weekday, the guys from Section 400 will be providing a rundown of everything that happened in sports the night (or day) before.
Let’s get it.

The Philadelphia Eagles are clearly the best team in football. Nick Sirianni and Co. just went into Arrowhead stadium on a rainy Monday Night, trailed 17-7 at halftime, and won the game 21-17.
Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was held to under 50 yards for the second straight game, while Patrick Mahomes threw for just 177.
Kansas City’s leading receiver on the night was Justin Watson, although it should have been Marquez Valdes-Scantling. That sentence alone pretty much encapsulates the problems in Kansas City right now.
The Birds weren’t pretty either on Monday, but they took care of business when they needed to and squeaked out a gritty win.
Section 400 member Matt was not pleased with the victory, and wants offensive coordinator Brian Johnson fired ASAP.

Purdue and Zach Edey proved me wrong.
The Boilermakers dismantled the 11th-ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs in an impressive second half, capturing a key first win of the Maui Invitational on Monday.
Center Zach Edey led the way with 25 points and 14 rebounds on a very efficient 50% from the field. Edey was the difference maker in the game, as both teams struggled from beyond the arc.
The Zags shot just 6/32 (19%) from 3-point range, leading to just 28 second half points. Mark Few teams rarely score under 30 points in a 20-minute half of basketball, but Purdue was able to out muscle, and more importantly, out play them in the games final frame.
Up next for Purdue is a date with 7th-ranked Tennessee before a possible 1 vs. 2 matchup against Kansas. If you aren’t tuned into the Maui Invitational, now is the time to pay attention.
Elsewhere in the college basketball world, UConn captured a tournament championship with a 81-71 win over No. 15 Texas. Although the final score may reflect a close game, the Huskies led end-to-end in this one and look like a clear favorite to make the Final Four once again.
Guard Tristen Newton is a legitimate triple-double threat every night, while forward Alex Karaban is playing like one of the best players in the Big East. UConn’s slew of freshmen haven’t kicked it in full gear yet either, which makes head coach Dan Hurley’s squad scarier than a Husky learning to “speak” for the first time.

Don’t look now, but James Harden and the Los Angeles Clippers may be figuring it out. Los Angeles is 2-0 since Russell Westbrook offered to be the Michelangelo to James Harden’s, Paul George’s, and Kawhi Leonard’s, Rafael, Donatello, and Leonardo.
The Clippers blew out the Spurs on the road on Monday, and now head into the second half on In-Season Tournament action riding a two-game win streak.
The Hornets also handed the Celtics their third loss of the season as 8.5-point underdogs. Jayson Tatum erupted for 45 points (which I think he’s done to the Hornets about 70 times) but it wasn’t enough to get by Lamelo Ball and Mark Williams’ big performances.
Miles Bridges is also back and playing well for the Hornets, so good for him I guess. (Figure it out Adam)
