Pitcher Zack Wheeler was dealing, the lineup was humming, and the Philadelphia Phillies were staring down a 2-0 series lead in the NLDS.

Then disaster struck.

First Braves catcher Travis D’Arnaud homered to end Wheeler’s night. Then, third basemen Austin Riley send Truist Park into a frenzy with an 8th-inning, go ahead, home run off of Phillies reliever Jeff Hoffman.

The Braves bullpen sealed the deal, in major part to this game-ending catch by center fielder Michael Harris.

For the first time in 36 years, there were two brothers facing off as kickers in an NFL game.

That was the most interesting thing that happened in the Raiders 17-13 win. Both quarterbacks were terrible, combining for 4 interceptions.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love threw 3 of them, including this heave that ultimately ended the game.

The Los Angeles Dodgers won 100 games in the 2023 regular season. They have not won a game in the 2023 postseason.

The Dodgers dropped both games to the Arizona Diamondbacks to begin the NLDS, and now need to take three in a row to advance out of the round.

After an offensive onslaught propelled the D-backs to a game one victory, it was the pitching staff’s dominance that won Arizona game two.

Starter Zach Gallen tossed 5 1/3 innings of 2 run ball before handing it off to the bullpen who held the Dodgers to just a single hit over the final 3 2/3.

The Diamondbacks are now 4-0 in the postseason after squeaking their way into the playoffs as the 6 seed in the NL.

For the record, team’s that go up 2-0 in a 5-game series are 29-3 all-time.
