I can’t quite tell you why your car is in the front yard, or why you slept with your clothes on, but don’t worry, I’m not gone.

Fightins’ get the last laugh.

After so much was made of the “laugh heard around the baseball world” from Braves short stop Orlando Arcia, Atlanta dropped two-straight games, falling to the Philadelphia Phillies in the NLDS.
The Phils’ didn’t put on quite the offensive barrage we saw in game 3, but two solo shots by Nick Castellanos and another by Trea Turner proved to be enough for starter Ranger Suarez and the bullpen.
The aforementioned Castellanos has now hit 4 homers in his last two games, and goes into the NLCS with a sizzling 1.440 OPS through 6 postseason games.
Philadelphia will take on the cinderella story Diamondbacks in game 1 of the NLCS on Monday at 8:07 EST.
Another snoozer primetime game.

The Denver Broncos came into Thursday night’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs 0-11 against Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
They left Thursday night’s game 0-12 against Patrick Mahomes.
The Broncos defense actually played fairly well against the dynamic Chiefs offense, making Mahomes and Co. settle for 4 field goals in a 19-point effort.
The problem for Denver was once again their offense, led by quarterback Russell Wilson. “Mr. Unlimited” completed just 13 passes in the loss, throwing for a measly 95 yards two interceptions, and 1 touchdown that did cut the lead to one score at the time.
The Broncos are a very bad football team.
Houston, we have a prayer.

The Houston Cougars hosted the West Virginia Mountaineers last night, and the ending of the game is so ludicrous you have to see it to believe it.
After Houston had a 35-32 lead in the games final seconds, WVU scored what seemed to be the game winning touchdown on a 4th and 10 from midfield.
Then, Houston got the ball back with time for just a heave to the end zone. Their prayer was answered, and Houston upset West Virginia at home.
