I can’t quite tell you why your car is in the front yard, or why you slept with your clothes on, but don’t worry, I’m not gone.
Every single day, the guys from Section 400 will be providing a rundown of everything that happened in the world of sports the night before.
Happy Halloween to all who celebrate. I decided to scale back and not buy $60 worth of candy this year.
C’mon Blue.

The Texas Rangers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks in 3-1 on Monday to take a 2-1 lead in the World Series, but it was home plate umpire Alfonso Márquez that stole the show.
Umpire Alfonso Márquez (ranked 77th of 92) missed 13 calls in World Series Game 3.
With a correct call rate of 89.9%, this was the 5th worst game of the playoffs.
Márquez also submitted a contender for worst called ball of the playoffs on a 3-2 pitch to Nathaniel Lowe. https://t.co/B40aZBBFbx pic.twitter.com/OEMC73EL3D

Márquez was an absolute joke of an umpire in the game, which is hard to believe considering MLB is supposed to have the best of the best calling the biggest games of the season.
I could go on for hours about how the umpires union is a corrupt disgrace to sports and Rob Manfred needs to grow a pair before we’re rushed towards even worse robot umpires, but I’ll save that for Thursday’s podcast. Make sure to subscribe to the YouTube so you don’t miss it.
As for the actual game on Monday night, it was a bit of a snooze fest. With the sun still out and the crowd acting like they were at a picnic in the middle of July, it was pretty hard to believe I was watching a World Series game.
The Rangers got out to an early lead on Brandon Pfaadt thanks to a Marcus Simen single and Corey Seager home run, and that was enough support for Max Scherzer, Jon Gray, and the rest of the bullpen to get a “W”.
We predicted the Rangers to win this series in 6 games in our World Series Preview, and it is trending in that direction after 3 games.
Toast Mcghost.

The Las Vegas Raiders have almost reached dumpster fire status. Despite the teams talent, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and head coach Josh McDaniels continue to hold the Raiders back.
Garoppolo was comically bad on Monday night, throwing for just 126 yards and an interception in the Raiders’ 26-14 loss to the Detroit Lions.
Those numbers don’t even tell the whole story, as “Jimmy G’s” night could have been substantially better if he had connected on just one of his many wide-open misses like this one.

It will be interesting to see how Las Vegas goes about Tuesday’s NFL Trade Deadline, as players like Devante Adams and Josh Jacobs could be dealt.
Before we move on, I’d like to point out the Views From Section 400 staff went a clean 3-0 on picks in our roundtable for this game.
Be sure to check out our roundtables before every Thursday and Monday night football game and college football saturday!
Freak Time back on track.

After a rough game against the Hawks, Damian Lillard and the Bucks are back on track.
“Freak Time” as the duo of Dame and Giannis Antetokounmpo have been referred to as, combined for 58 of the Bucks 122 points against the Heat, leading Milwaukee to an easy 8-point win in a rematch of last year’s first round series.
The win moves the Bucks to 2-1, while Miami is now 1-3 to start the season. It’s still early, but head coach Erik Spoelstra can’t be liking what he sees so far from his defending eastern conference champions.
