The Cowboys look like frauds once again.
The Sunday Night Football game between the 49ers and Cowboys was billed to be a heavyweight fight between two of the better teams in the NFC. It turned into an absolute shellacking, with San Francisco running laps around the Cowboys, 42-10.
Tight end George Kittle found the end zone three times, running back Christian McCaffery extended his touchdown streak to 14 straight, and quarterback Brock Purdy poured in 252 passing yards and 4 touchdowns.

Down to the Wire

MLB playoff action continued on Sunday, with both ALDS series moving on to pivotal game twos.
Carlos Correa and the Minnesota Twins stole a game in Houston to even up the series with the Astros. Correa had 3 hits and 3 RBI’s in the game, and now is tied with David Justice for third on the all-time postseason RBI list.
This series shifts back to Minnesota for game 3 on Tuesday.
The 100-win Baltimore Orioles are now on the brink of elimination following another loss at home to the Texas Rangers. Section 400 writer Matt warned baseball fans about the O’s inexperience heading into October, and his worries seem to be coming full swing in the ALDS.
Aces royally flush Liberty

The Las Vegas Aces have taken a 1-0 lead in the 2023 WNBA finals after their 99-82 in over the New York Liberty on Sunday.
The start quartet of Jackie Young, A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, and Chelsea Gray combined to score 91 of the Las Vegas’ 99 points.
The Liberty actually took a two-point lead into the halftime locker room, but a third quarter onslaught proved to be the difference in game 1.
Game 2 of the series is back in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
