Well, that was a lot of football.
Every single weekday, the guys from Section 400 will be providing a rundown of everything that happened in sports the night before.
Let’s get into it.
No Noles.

Florida State did everything they could do.
The Seminoles finished off an undefeated regular season on Saturday, surviving the Louisville Cardinals in the ACC Championship despite being down to their third string quarterback.
Many, including ourselves over at Section 400, thought the win would lock up the four-seed for the Seminoles in the playoffs. How could the committee leave out an undefeated Power 5 team, even if they are down to their third-string quarterback?
The almighty committee did just that, leaving an undefeated major conference winner out of the field for the first time ever.
Alabama upset Georgia in the SEC Championship, capturing the 4-seed and setting up a matchup with a less-than-excited Michigan team.

One-loss Texas also found their way into the playoff after an incredibly impressive 49-21 win in the Big 12 Championship. The Longhorns take on the Washington Huskies in the first round, setting up arguably the most intriguing semi-final matchups the history of the CFP.
Purdy Impressive

Our guy Matt, and Eagles fans everywhere, came into this weekend with one thing on their mind; Shut up those damn 49ers fans.
Well, that did not happen. Instead, Deebo Samuel, Brock Purdy, and San Francisco dismantled the Eagles in Philadelphia.
@views.from.400 The #eagles get blown out at home against the #49ers and Matt is in shambles. The #niners looked like the better team all game. Is it time for the #birds to move on from #brianjohnson ? #nfl #nfc #nflfootball #football #reaction #philly #philadelphiaeagles #sanfrancisco
Matt wasn’t happy but still went out of his way to call the 49ers frauds after they beat his team by 23 points. Our tik tok video is flooding with 49ers fans, which is always great for the phone battery.
Yesterday’s loss is the worst thing to happen to the city of Philadelphia since I-95 collapsed last year, and I’d be willing to bet most people up there are more mad over this than that bridge creating a logistical nightmare for the city.
Anarchy in College Basketball.

I wrote about it on Saturday, but I’ll say it again.
College Basketball is an absolute scene right now. A handful of top ranked teams went down over the weekend. Your dad’s favorite fraud, the No. 1 ranked Purdue Boilermakers, your dad’s second favorite fraud, the Duke Blue Devils, and the 12th ranked Kentucky Wildcats all lost this weekend.
My Auburn Tigers also went down in Appalachian State, begging the question why did they play a road game at Appalachian State.
The 21-ranked Mississippi State Bulldogs also struggled this weekend, losing two in a row after a 6-0 start. They may be who we thought they were.
As fun as the upsets are, this is normally the time of the year we see the most of them. Major preseason tournaments have ended and conference play is still a month away. College kids get bored, and it’s hard for them to get up for games they may feel don’t matter as much.
