Every single day, Section 400 will take you through the upcoming night’s slate of games, no matter how incredible, or how disgusting, it looks.
Today is of course Sunday Funday, as we have a full day of football, starting with the Jaguars and Bills in London and ending with an absolute banger when the Cowboys take on the 49ers in Santa Clara.
The Best.

(NFL) 49ers vs. Cowboys
(NFL) Vikings vs Chiefs
The headliner of the NFL slate takes place Sunday night, when the 3-1 Dallas Cowboys travel to Santa Clara to take on the undefeated San Francisco 49ers. It’s always a treat when these two teams meet, as the all-time series is dead even at 17-17-1.
49ers running back Christian McCaffery has scored a touchdown in 13 straight games. OJ Simpson and John Riggins own the current NFL record with 15 straight.
The 4:25 games are headlined by a battle of underperforming teams in Minneapolis. The Vikings come in at 1-3 and a 1-4 start would be disastrous for their playoff hopes.
The Chiefs have struggled all year, although they do come in at 3-1. Patrick Mahomes played possibly his worst game as a pro in week 4, getting outplayed by New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson in primetime.
It’ll be nice to finally watch a Chiefs game without the broadcast creaming over Taylor Swift too.
The rest of the best.

(MLB) A pair of ALDS Game Twos
(NFL) Rams vs Eagles
After all the MLB playoff series were in action yesterday, the American League stands alone on Sunday.
The Orioles dropped game one to the Rangers at home, and now turn to rookie flamethrower Grayson Rodriguez with their back against the wall.
In Houston, the Astros rolled over the Twins in game one and are favored to take them down in game two as well.
The Rams vs. Eagles game is on this list for one reason and one reason only. Over the first two weeks of the Section 400 Podcast, writer Brian Hauch has feuded with fellow writer Matt Kolen, creating longshot parlays in the hopes that the Birds go down for the first time in 2023. To see his play this week, watch the podcast here.
The rest.

(NFL) The rest of the slate
(WNBA) Finals Game 1, Liberty vs Aces
The rest of this week’s NFL slate is slighty disgusting. At the end of the day it is the NFL, and we’ll be watching.
The New York Liberty take on the Las Vegas Aces during the NFL “witching hour” at 3 PM, showing the WNBA not only doesn’t know how to market but refuses to even try to do it correctly.
In all seriousness this series features pretty much every WNBA player that is worth watching, with the Aces featuring a deadly quartet of A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Chelsea Gray, and Jackie Young.
New York loaded up on Brianna Stewart in free agency last year, creating possibly the best duo in the league between herself and Sabrina Ionescu.
