Before I get into this, I’d like to formally apologize to everyone for giving out the Louisville pick last night. That team couldn’t find a needle in a needle stack.
I also apologize for that joke, I just got back from the gym and my brain is working on 40% power. Tonight’s podcast should be fun.
Anyway, here we are again. Every single weekday, the guys from Section 400 will provide a rundown of the games they have their eyes on each night.
Tonight’s slate is more revolting than Epstein’s list but let’s get right into it.
The best.

(NBA) Nuggets vs. Warriors
I know what you are thinking. “Brian, didn’t these two teams just play on Christmas a week ago?”
Yes, yes they did. (Figure it out Adam.)
Nonetheless, I’m not complaining. The Warriors host the defending champion Nuggets tonight in what could be an early preview at a first-round playoff matchup.
The Warriors, despite being the Warriors, seem destined to hover around the .500 mark all year but still have Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. WWE superstar Draymond Green is also reportedly set to return to practice soon and considering he plays about 12 minutes a game before ejection, he should be back within the week.
As for Denver, the Nuggets have navigated injuries to Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon well enough to sit at the No. 3 seed in the West.
For those unaware, Aaron Gordon was bit by a dog and missed over a week. You have got to love the NBA.
The best of the rest.

(NHL) Panthers vs. Golden Knights
We have a rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup final tonight. Unfortunately it can only be seen on ESPN+.
The 23-12-2 Florida Panthers and 22-11-5 Vegas Golden Knights haven’t missed a beat since last season, and the Florida is arguably even better than the team that made an unexpected run to the Final last year.
Centers Sam Reinhart and Aleksander Barkov have combined for nearly 80 points this season in Florida, while goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky has been a brick wall in the net.
For Vegas, winger Mark Stone is once again one of the best players in the NHL. He pairs with center Jack Eichel to create a phenomal 1-2 punch of the first-line for the Knights.
If you have Friday’s off and feel like staying up past your normal bedtime this one is worth a watch.
Man my comedy is on fire today.
The best of the rest.

(NCAAB) Horrendous slate
I can honestly tell you there is not one game worth watching in college basketball tonight. You may want to tune into Colorado vs. Arizona, but something tells me the Wildcats are going to bounce-back and take wrangle the Buffalos handedly.
As for a low key game with some value, there is no reason whatsoever Green Bay should only be favored by 3-points against a laughably dysfunctional Detroit Mercy team.
Last year the Detroit Mercy Titans had the second all-time leading scorer in NCAA HISTORY in Antoine Davis. They went 14-19.
This year they are 0-15. Four of those 15 losses have come in the Horizon League. Their average margin of defeat is 18.25 points.
They lost to IUPUI (who held open tryouts last year) by 12. Don’t overthink it.
Besides that Horizon League heavy-weight battle, James Madison travels to Louisiana Lafayette tonight as the Dukes try to continue an undefeated season. That game starts at 8 eastern and can be seen on ESPN+ like everything else in this article apparently.
I’ve obviously used up all my creative juices for today. I’m sorry if this one was rough to get through. This is what bad sports nights do to me.
