Hello everyone and welcome to the 2024 MLB Season!!
Last year was a (Gray)t one with the Rangers and Jon Gray winning the World Series.
This season is going to be very exciting. We have new rookies Jackson Holliday, Wyatt Langford, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto joining the league, and they are sure to impress.
For this article I am going to give you my best bets for each division, award, and Champion.
Now let’s get into it.
- AL East
-

USATS I love the Orioles this year. They are my pick and my best bet to win this division. With the addition of Corbin Burnes, Jackson Holliday, and the continued growth of their young prospects give me the Orioles (+185) to take this division.
- AL Central
-

USATS Give me the Detroit Tigers (+350). The Tigers are a very young, talented, team like the Orioles. I think we will see a monster season from Spenser Torkelson, and Riley Greene at the plate, while the pitching behind ace Tarik Skubal will be enough to get past the sneaky Royals.
- AL West
-

Carmen Mandato/Getty Images Give me the Texas Rangers (+230). The Rangers have a monster lineup and are adding a full season of Wyatt Langford and Evan Carter. I know that the Astros are a juggernaut but the tides are turning. Behind Jon Gray, the Rangers will win this division.
- NL East
-

USATS As a Phillies fan, I really want to pick them to win the division, the issue is that the Braves (-240) are regular-season merchants so they will win this division.
- NL Central
-

Getty Images The odds here are crazy to me. The National League Central is the Cincinnati Reds’ (+350) division to lose. The Reds have one of the deepest lineups in baseball and an extremely underrated pitching staff. Behind Spencer Steer and Andrew Abbot, look for the Reds to awaken the league this season.
- NL West
-

USATS Looking at the odds I don’t hate the Padres, but the Dodgers (-450) should be an easy hit. Los Angeles is ridiculous. Ohtani joining this team is crazy, and they will be an exciting watch all season.
- Rookies of the Year
-

We will go very simple here. I like Jackson Holliday +250 in the American League and Yoshinobu Yamamoto +175 in the National League.
I was considering Evan Carter in the American League and Kyle Harrison in the National League but was not confident enough to pull the trigger.
- CY Youngs
-

Getty Images Now if you know me, you know that the pick here is going to be Jon Gray (+15000) for the American League Cy Young. Gray is “Grayt”. His 95+ mph fastball along with his 87-89 MPH slider is LETHAL.
Hammer hammer hammer Gray and enjoy the ride!!
For the National League, Zack Wheeler (+800) is the man and this should hit with ease. The Phillies are very lucky to have him.
- MVPs
-

USATS I already mentioned that the Tigers are my bet to win the American League Central. The main reason is that Riley Greene (+20000) is going to show the league why he was the best prospect in baseball and win the AL MVP. Greene is the most undervalued bet I’ve seen and he will have a monster season.
Ronald Acuna (+500) is a regular-season merchant and will win the MVP again. He won’t win the NL stolen base title though. Esteury Ruiz (+250) gets that with 80 stolen bases in 2024.
- World Series Champion
