Our Official 2024 March Madness Brackets

Ladies and gentlemen, after having two days to digest the load of “hoo blah” given to us by the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee, the guys from Section 400 have crunched the numbers and tried to ignore the heartstrings.

Here is who Matt, Jack, and Brian are taking to cut down the nets in April.

Matt

Champion: Iowa State

Final Four: Iowa State, Arizona, Houston, McNeese

Takeaways: As Matt said on the podcast, he was watching McNeese play away games at Lamar on a Tuesday Night in December for this very moment. He is convinced the Cowboys are this year’s FAU (he did call FAU’s run by the way) and you may want to listen.

Matt is also in love with Iowa State after their run through the BIG 12 Tournament. The Cyclones boast a top-five KenPom defense that could carry them through March.

Brian

Champion: Creighton

Final Four: Auburn, Arizona, Houston, Creighton

Takeaways: Brian always seems to let his heart take over when it comes to filling out a bracket. This year was no different. Early in December he said UCONN, Arizona, and Creighton would be in his Final Four but was forced to re-access after the draw.

He went with his Auburn Tigers over his favorite Cinderella New Mexico and has told us he won’t flip-flop.

Jack

Champion: Auburn

Final Four: Auburn, UNC, Houston, Tennessee

Takeaways: War. Damn. Eagle. Jack fully believes in the Tigers to avenge their Final Four exit after winning the SEC Championship in 2019 (Ty Jerome double dribbled) and cut down the nets. The rest of his bracket is fairly chalky, although he does have a few spicy Sweet 16 teams like Charleston and BYU.
