What happened last night; October 27

I can’t quite tell you why your car is in the front yard, or why you slept with your clothes on, but don’t worry, I’m not gone.

Every single day, the guys from Section 400 will be providing a rundown of everything that happened in the world of sports the night before

Do you believe in miracles? Not this time.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traveled to Buffalo to take on the Bills in a Thursday Night Football game that nearly put play-by-play announcer Al Michaels to sleep.

The game ended with a 24-18 final score, but that final was more misleading than a Jordan Belfort selling reverse mortgages to your grandparents.

Josh “Tim” Allen looked like Santa Claus the way he was dishing gifts out to his receivers in this one, as the former first-round pick out of Wyoming collected 365 all purpose yards and 3 touchdowns.

The Bills leading receiver on the night, and the game’s leading receiver, was Khalil Shakir.

That’s by far the most interesting thing that happened on a cold Thursday in Buffalo.

Up next for the Bills is a primetime showdown with Joe Burrow and the Bengals. As for the Bucs, they’ll get to play a game in the beautiful heated dome that is NRG Stadium when they take on C.J Stroud and the Texans.

Freak time.

The new-look Milwaukee Bucks took down the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday Night off the back of 39 points from Damian Lillard.

Lillard instantly provided clutch scoring for a Bucks team that desperately needed it in last year’s first round series against the Heat that “wasn’t a failure”.

Philadelphia held their own without All-Star guard James Harden, who was exiled from the road trip after being away from the team for the entire off-season.

Tyrese Maxey looks like a proven star already. The young guard led his team in scoring with 31 points while adding 8 assists and four rebounds.

There was a point in time where everyone around the NBA thought we’d be seeing Lebron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers taking on Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors in every NBA Finals until both players retired… or became cyborgs.

Believe it or not, these two future hall-of-famers actually hadn’t met since 2018 before taking the floor against each other on Thursday.

Lebron got a small dose of revenge for the Finals losses, taking down Durant and the half-baked Suns 100-95. The King looked like his old self in this one, collecting 21 points to go along with 9 assists and 8 rebounds.

Anthony Davis added 30 points of his own to outlast Kevin Durant’s 39 point effort.
