College football week 6 treated us to two major upsets of teams in the top 10.

First Texas went down in the Red River Rivalry at the hands of #12 Oklahoma.

After a subpar late afternoon slate, #25 Louisville smacked #10 Notre Dame, ruining any chance the Fighting Irish had at making the college football playoff. Notre Dame had previously won their last 30 games vs. ACC opponents.

Colts running back Jonathan Taylor finally got himself paid on Saturday, signing at 3-year deal worth $42 million.

The deal comes at the exact right time for Indianapolis, as Taylor was eligible to be activated off the PUP list and will reportedly be ready to play this week against the Tennessee Titans.

All MLB teams left in the playoffs were in action on Saturday, beginning their respective Divisional Series.

Road teams ended up taking 3/4 games on the slate, with the lone home team claiming victory being the Houston Astros.

The Philadelphia Phillies once again look like a World Series contender, as their pitching shut out a previously hot Atlanta Braves lineup. The offense did just enough against Braves ace Spencer Strider, and the Fightins’ claimed a 3-0 win.

The Texas Rangers took the air out of a Camden Yards crowd that witnessed Baltimore’s first home playoff game since 2014, taking a 1-0 series lead with a 3-2 win.

The most perplexing score of the slate came in the night cap, where the Arizona Diamondbacks absolutely clobbered the 100-win Los Angeles Dodgers in a game Clayton Kershaw failed to make it out of the first inning.

The Dodgers will get a day off to regroup, as the NL series are off tomorrow.

In the AL, Jordan Montgomery takes the hill for the Rangers against Grayson Rodriguez and the O’s.

The Twins send Pablo Lopez to the mound in Houston against Framber Valdez and the defending champion Astros.
