Remember, remember, the tenth of November.
I think the line actually may be the “fifth of November”, but for the sake of building tension, we’ll say I was correct.
Every single day, the guys at Section 400 will take you through the upcoming night’s slate of games, no matter how incredible, or how disgusting, it looks.
Today’s slate is leaps and bounds better than yesterday’s, with the college basketball game of the year, NBA In-Season Tournament action, a solid Mountain West college football game, and a solid night of NHL action.
We deserve this after last night’s disaster. Let’s get into it.
The best.

- (NCAAB) Arizona vs. Duke
- (NBA) Lakers vs Suns (In-Season Tournament)
There has been much debate lately across the Twitter world about what college basketball stadium is the hardest to play in. I often see Allen Fieldhouse or Assembly Hall a top list, and I scratch my head every single time.
Cameron Indoor Stadium is my pick in the debate. (sorry Neville Arena, war eagle) The place is going to be ROCKING tonight as the “Crazies” cheer on their No. 2 ranked Blue Devils against the No. 12 ranked Arizona Wildcats. I could say a whole lot about this game, but I already did. Go check out our full guide to this primetime matchup here.
Day two of the NBA In-Season tournament gets underway tonight a week after the tournament started (figure it out Adam). The best game of the night is in Phoenix, when Lebron James and the struggling Lakers travel to the desert to take on the newly-healthy Bradley Beal and the Suns.
Unfortunately Devin Booker is out again with a foot injury, so won’t be able to get our first taste of the fully functional Suns on national television. This game may be better without Booker, and I’ll definetly be tuning in on ESPN at 10 eastern.
The best of the rest.

- (NCAAF) Wyoming vs. UNLV
- (NBA) Rest of In-Season Tournament Slate
Did you know the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels football team is 7-2? Good, because I didn’t either. The Rebels only losses this season have been against a cheating Michigan team (they probably didn’t have to cheat against UNLV) and the top team in the Mountain West, Fresno State.
The Rebels have a very exciting offense that averages over 36 points per game this season, and we should see plenty of points tonight against a bad Wyoming defense.
We do have a few decent games in the NBA other than Lakers vs. Suns. Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irivng host the loaded-but-struggling Clippers, and the young Pelicans take on the younger Rockets.

The rest.

- (NCAAB) Rest of slate
- (NHL) 6-game slate
We finally have a massive college basketball slate featuring some good games across every time zone. The 7 PM hour not only brings us Arizona vs. Duke, but we also get Texas A&M traveling to Ohio State and Princeton vs. Hofstra in a great mid major game.
I have my eyes on the 9 o’clock hour when San Diego State has a tough road test against BYU, Gonzaga hosts Ivy League contender Yale, and the Tennessee Volunteers (+2) travel to Madison to take on the Wisconsin Badgers. I like the ranked teams in all three of these matchups, but mostly in Madison.
Rick Barnes is great in the early season and he has the more talented offense in a game that’s going to be begrudgingly slow. The wrong team is favored this one.
On the ice, I’ll have my eyes on Golden Knights vs. Sharks game in hopes of seeing the biggest blowout in NHL history.
