What to watch for tonight; October 26

Every single day, Section 400 will take you through the upcoming night’s slate of games, no matter how incredible, or how disgusting, it looks.

Today’s slate is lighter than the last few days, but we Thursday Night Football, an NBA on TNT doubleheader, a full night of NHL, and an ACC football game.

Let’s get right into it.

The best.

Bucks/ X

(NBA) Bucks vs Sixers

(NBA) Lakers vs Suns

The NBA on TNT doubleheader should be an incredible watch. The first game features the final two teams yet to play a game this season in the 76ers and the Bucks.

These eastern conference juggernauts are going in different directions ahead of this one. The Bucks made the splash of the offseason when they acquired Damian Lillard from the Portland Trailblazers in a three-team deal, while the 76ers made a much sadder and expectedly-on-brand splash when point guard James Harden called team president Daryl Morey a liar.

The Sixers will go into the season without “The Beard” and they’ll try to win shorthanded tonight against Giannis, Dame, and the Bucks.

The Lakers and Suns are back on national television after just a one day break.

Lebron James and the “Lakeshow” are coming off a loss to the defending champion Nuggets, while the Suns beat the Warriors on Tuesday despite missing their newest prized addition, Bradley Beal”.

The best of the rest.

(NFL) Bills vs. Bucs

(NHL) full slate of games

Thursday Night Football’s game is an interesting one. The Buffalo Bills have been a dumpster fire as of late, 2/3 games with the only win coming against Tyrod Taylor and the Giants. (and they barely won that)

The Bucs haven’t looked much better. They basically gave away the game last week to Atlanta at home, creating a sense of urgency for Baker Mayfield to get things going.

For a full preview of this game, check out our roundtable here.

The NHL continues to roll on tonight as well, with most of the league in action. The 4-2 Maple Leaves traveling to Dallas to take on the 4-0-1 Stars is the game I’ll be keeping my eyes on.

The rest.

John Schneider – SB Nation

(NCAAF) Virginia Tech vs. Syracuse

The Virginia Tech Hokies host the Syracuse Orange in an ACC showdown on Thursday Night. Syracuse has lost 3 straight games and is in danger of missing out on a bowl if they can’t right the ship.

That is pretty much the only storyline here.
