Chase Claypool’s time in Chicago has come to an end.
After trading a second-round pick for Claypool a year ago, the Chicago Bears have cut ties with the receiver following his displeasure with the team.
Chicago is sending the disgruntled receiver and a 7th-round pick to the Miami Dolphins for a 2025 sixth-rounder.
I’d like to say Claypool’s time in Chicago was about as good as his TikTok dances, but I think that would be an insult to his dancing skills. The Notre Dame alum caught just 18 passes for 191 yards in 10 games for the Bears, finding the end zone once.
He’ll get a fresh start in Miami when he joins an already crowded room of pass-catchers featuring Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Braxton Berrios, and Robby “Chosen” Anderson.
