Every single day, Section 400 will take you through the upcoming night’s slate of games, no matter how incredible, or how disgusting, it looks.
Tuesday night brings us some more playoff baseball, three college football games, and preseason action in both the NBA and the NHL.
As always, we’ll take you through the games we’ll be keeping an eye on, from the games that’ll have us glued to the television, to the games we’ll be checking in on every 10 minutes or so.
The best.

(MLB) Twins vs. Astros
(MLB) Rangers vs Orioles
Two ALDS game 3’s highlight the Tuesday slate of games.
Sonny Gray and the Twins host Christian Javier and the Astros in Minnesota at 4:07 EST. Gray was terrific in his Wild Card Series start against the Blue Jays, throwing 5 shutout innings, aided heavily by this beautiful pick-off of Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

The Astros took a rare postseason loss in game 2, and they’ll turn to Christian Javier and his 2.20 career postseason era to try and recapture control of the series.
On the other side of the bracket, the 5-seed Texas Rangers have a chance to improve to 5-0 in the postseason and sweep the 2-seed Baltimore Orioles in the process.
Nathan Eovaldi has a chance to close out a second series in a row for the Rangers after he threw 6 2/3 innings of one run ball in the Wild Card Series against the Rays.
The Orioles will turn to Dean Kremer on the brink of elimination. This will be the Israeli-born pitcher’s first career postseason start.
The best of the rest.

(NCAAF) Appalachian State vs. Coastal Carolina
(NCAAF) Jacksonville State vs Liberty
(NCAAF) MTSU vs Louisiana Tech
Three mid-major college football games fall into the “best of the rest” tier for Tuesday night.
We start with a “Fun-belt” game between the Coastal Carolina Coastal Carolina came into the season Chanticleers and the Appalachian State Mountaineers.
Coastal Carolina is about as confusing of a program as their mascot’s name suggests. The Chanticleers came into the season with high aspirations, but they have quickly fizzled.
Their senior quarterback Grayson McCall has seemingly gotten his talent stolen by the “monstars”. After throwing 77 touchdowns to just 8 interceptions during his first three years, McCall has thrown 6 touchdowns to 6 interceptions through the first 5 games of his senior season.
The once viewed NFL-prospect is rattled and lost, and his team is 2-3 because of it.
They go up against an Appalachian State team that loves to score but loves to let the other team score more. If there was any time for McCall to get back on track, it’s this game.
Another fun game on this Tuesday night, 5-0 Liberty travels to Florida to take on Jacksonville State in a battle of teams atop the Conference USA standings.
The rest.

(NBA) Small preseason slate
(NHL) Opening night slate
The new look Phoenix Suns host the Denver Nuggets at 10:00 EST on TNT as a decent night-cap to the Tuesday’s slate.
It will be the second preseason game for Phoenix, who played their starters around 13 minutes in the their opener in Detroit.
The Nuggets of course are coming off an NBA Finals victory, and will look to shake the celebratory hangover off in their first tune-up game.
